A comprehensive course in drawing and painting

The course will give you knowledge of visual principles (proportion – composition – form and color). You will be experiencing different materials and techniques and reviewing possibilities of their usage. The course also contains an introduction to artists’ works aiming to gain an independent, personal language in visual arts. A part of the course is to share critique of and review workshop paintings.

The teacher is Shima Faridani who has a B.A. in Painting from Tehran Azad University of Arts and Architecture. She is also a member of Uppsala Konstnärsklubb. www.shimafaridani.com

Group size? 5-10 participants

How often? Once a week, during 8 weeks.

Amount of time? Total time for each course is at least 20 hours.

Age group? There are two different age groups: 7-15 years old and one 15 years old and above.

Fee? 1 200 kr

Where? Studieförbundet Bilda, S:t Olofsgatan 32 E

Course start? Februari 22, 16.00-17.30 (7-15 years old). Februari 22, 18.00-19.30 (over 15 years old).

The courses will be held in English. There is also the possibility of joining a group held in Persian.
